This afternoon you will be receiving an
AlertNow message to remind parents that Progress Reports
for Quarter 3 were issued
yesterday afternoon, Monday,
March 11, because of the snow day last Friday. Your child came home with the Progress Report as
well as a receipt that needs to be signed and returned to school on Wednesday, March 13.
As I have said before, the marks that you find on this
progress report should never be a surprise to either you or the student. Please make sure you check out the grades as
well as the comments for Conduct and Effort. If you feel that discussion regarding your
child’s progress or lack of it in any of these categories is needed, please make
an appointment to schedule a time that would offer both you and the teacher
enough time to adequately discuss your child's present situation. Please make note that
Parent-Teacher Conferences for the spring are just a week away on March 21, from 6 to 8:30 PM, and March 26, from 4 to 6:30 PM. We need to make sure there is open
communication between school and home. Remember also this is a report on progress;
there are still some weeks left for those 3rd Quarter grades and comments to change or
improve, so please keep up with checking your child's agenda on a nightly
basis.
