Fun, Festive First Week of October
From our Rally for the Sox, Pats, and Bruins, where students were asked to wear their Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins gear as all three were in action on Thursday, October 5, with the Sox starting their Playoff run, the Pats attempting to bounce-back in Thursday Night Football, and the Bruins kicking off their season.
On Friday, October 6, we had our First Official Half-Day Hat-Day to support Hurricane Irma Relief, where we were able to raise almost $300 in the effort.
Friday was also our First Friday Celebration of the month, where our students, faculty and staff wear each grade's Spirit shirt and our faculty's #NMSTigerPride #PoWErful shirt.
On Friday, we were also a little short on Cafeteria workers, so Mr. Geoghegan donned his hat and apron to help out behind the counter serving students in all three lunches.
Then on Friday afternoon, our teachers worked together to support each other's learning to try to make our classrooms even better places for our students.
It has been a sensational start to the month!
