News from Art Club 17-18!

Do you like art? Do you like drawing, doodling, painting, or creating art?
Of course you do. Everyone likes art.
And if you do, and I know you do, come check out the NMS Art Club.
The NMS Art Club meets each Tuesday after school in the art room! This is a very popular program and often has over 50 students in attendance!
Each week Mrs. Tucker presents thematic-based projects with a vast variety of material choices. Students can choose to create the projects or branch out and use the materials in their own, unique way. Some Young Artists bring their own sketchbooks and develop their own drawings.
There is also a student-run Anime Group at the same time as Art Club. This group meets in the cluster area and shares their interest in Japanese Cartooning.
Another group of students meet with former NMS student Ben Medeiros, an aspiring artist, from Middleboro High School. Ben instructs the students in character development and design. He often runs drawing contests for the students as well!
