On Wednesday night, I will send out to all 7th and 8th Grade Parents and Guardians an AlertNow message to invite them to our Open House for grades 7 and 8, Thursday night, September 10th, similar to the Open House night we had for 6th Grade students back a week ago in August prior to school opening.
We will begin the evening at 6:30 PM, if you choose, in the Auditorium and end at 8:30 PM. At 6:30 PM, our new Assistant Principals, Ms. Stephanie Rae and Mr. Greg Thomas will be in the Auditorium to introduce themselves and for the whole administrative team (including me) to answer any questions you may have. We will be in the Auditorium until 7, and then we will be out and about the 7th and 8th grade floors, so you may also ask us any questions then.
During the Open House, our seventh and eighth grade teachers with our Unified Arts teachers will then have their opportunity to explain to you what their expectations are and what parents can expect to see for the school year for your children in terms of class work and homework.
