MPS DERT Team Presentation at 8 PM in NMS Auditorium
At the 7th and 8th grade Open House, on Tuesday, September 20, from 8 to 8:30 PM in the auditorium, the District Emergency Response Team (DERT) will be doing a 30 minute parent presentation on active-shooter training.
This talk will define the ABC’s of Middleborough Public School’s response options and also describe our training techniques for the Nichols Middle School.
District Emergency Response Team literature will be available to enhance parental education and to help facilitate conversations at home.
Sixth grade parents are welcome and encouraged to come to this informative presentation in the NMS Auditorium, beginning at 8 and ending at 8:30 PM.
This less than 30 minute presentation will offer parents a snapshot of where we, as a District, were and where we're going regarding school safety and security; it will also be a time to share with parents and guardians the student training schedule that will be occurring this school year.
