Dear Superintendent Lynch, Principals, Staff, Faculty & Students of MHS, NMS, MKG, HBB & MECC:
We are writing to say “THANK YOU” to everyone for making our schools “GO GOLD” this September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We are so impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm to participate and by showing your continued love and support of Dylan, our family and our community families and their children both fighting, survivors and Angels. You all continue to touch our family’s heart tremendously in a way words cannot describe. Thank you everyone.
Dylan would like to send a big Thank you to Principal Branagan, Asst. Principal Dizel for letting the students decorate the schools windows with GOLD! Thank you to Coach Kingman and the football for GOING GOLD and wearing GOLD RIBBONS on your helmets. Thank you for letting him be honorary captain for the game. Thank you to Mr. Justin Pittsley, Band Director for letting Dylan be Honorary Drum Major for the game and for his special shirt, drum sticks and SACHEM DRUM LINE MAGNET. We have it on our truck! Thank you for forming the ribbon on the field. Maybe next year we can get you all some GOLD shirts.
Thank you to Pat Bettencourt and the Key Club and MHS Student Council for making ribbons and for helping out at the vigil.
Thank you to everyone for helping spread awareness and supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness. Remember, it doesn’t have to be September to continue to spread awareness. Be a Voice, Be the Change, Just Be! Continue to “Rock Kindness”!
