8th Graders Battle for Field Day Supremacy
Thursday, June 16,
our 8th Grade Students battled as Homerooms to see who would take home the top
prize.
Students were
taken through different obstacles and activities led by Mr. Redpath.
There was the human pyramid, musical chairs, freeze dance, tug-o-war, Simon says, bat races, and more.
The battle was a
fiery one at times.
In the end, after
a fun-packed day, Mr. Jesman's Homeroom took home the trophy.
It was a Comet
sweep with Ms. Evans and Mr. Petruski taking second and third.
Awesome job, 8th
Grade students, 8th Grade teachers and staff, PTA parent helpers, volunteers,
and all the donations of water from NMS parents.
NMS PTA also
provided the DJ for the day.
As well as check out the incredible 8th Grade T-shirts supplied by the
NMS PTA, which all the kids are sporting.
Great job, all. It was so much
fun seeing you all have so much fun.
Here are some pics
