The NMS Art Display of Nathan Childs

A Very Special Presentation

The NMS Art Display of Nathan Childs
Class of 2015

A special display of the art of Nathan Childs is now in the Fine Art Wing of Nichols Middle School.

Nathan Childs, Class of 2015, tragically lost his life last year. Nathan was a student of the Middleborough Public Schools since Kindergarten and is fondly remembered by the teachers of the district. Nathan found his voice on the stage, in concert choir, and in the visual arts, and so it is only fitting to have this display in our Fine Arts corridor of NMS near the Auditorium and the music classrooms.

The display was made possible by many. Faculty and Staff of Nichols Middle School donated the plaque and Nathan’s mother, Lori Rea, donated his artwork. The PTA of Nichols Middle School donated the frames, the custodians prepared the wall, and art teacher, Mrs. Jeriann Tucker, created the arrangement.

On Thursday, March 10, following our faculty meeting, NMS faculty and staff stuck around to see Mrs. Jeriann Tucker present the display to Ms. Rae in a small but touching ceremony.

Make sure you check out the Display in the corridor near the entrance to the Auditorium.

Here are some of the pictures from the presentation.
