A Back-And-Forth Game Ends on a Three, But a Win for All Those Involved
The NMS 8th Grade Students versus the NMS Faculty Basketball Game was a treat from start to end. So much fun was had by all as the gym was packed.
Students led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but the Teachers battled back, chipping away at the lead.
By half, the score was very respectable with the Students having a slight lead.
In the second half, both teams traded buckets with a defensive push by the Teachers gave them a slight lead.
The Students, this time, did their part in coming back and taking a lead.
Then it was bucket for bucket throughout the last few minutes, where it looked sure to go to Overtime, but a last second heave from Mr. Thompson won the game (sadly) for the Teachers.
Both teams played great. The crowd was supportive and positive as we would expect from our TIGERS throughout.

Awesome play-by-play by Ms. Crystal White, and tremendous participation by all our NMS Faculty and Staff, and the 8th Grade Students.
