Invitation to a Life-Changing Expedition
Students at or entering MHS in the Fall of 2017 may benefit from participation in an international Service Learning Tour with EF tours. They will grow their developing dedication to academics and outstanding character in the classroom. In particular we are looking for students who want unique, real world experiences in Spanish and Environmental Science on their high school resume.
We are traveling to the Dominican Republic next Summer break (June 25 to July 5, 2018) to work side-by-side with locals on community-driven projects. Through hands-on work and deep exposure to the local culture, students will learn vital collaboration and problem solving skills, and return home inspired to make a difference in their own community.

There is limited space on the trip, and enrollment will be discussed at the meeting. We already have several travelers and plans for fundraising for the trip.
