Celebrate the Arts with Middleborough Public Schools!
The Middleborough Public Schools will host their sixteenth
annual Celebration of the Arts on Friday, May 27th, in the
Middleborough High School gymnasium.
A wide variety of outstanding student
artwork in a multitude of fascinating media will be on display from 3:00 - 6:00
PM.
Visitors will enjoy this self-guided tour which will begin
with the appealing work of budding elementary artists, continue with the
intriguing art of middle school students and end with the impressive pieces
created by highly skilled high school students.
This presentation is a
culmination of the thinking, learning and creating process that takes place
yearly under the guidance of our dedicated visual arts specialists. Students
practice critical thinking skills, learn how to analyze and interpret visual
images and discover ways to communicate and express ideas.
This exhibit is free to the public and is sure to provide an
inspiring way to spend the afternoon.
Following the exhibit, the high school students will perform
“That’s Entertainment” in the high school auditorium at 7:00.
Here are just some of the fantastic art you will see produced by our own NMS students with the amazing Ms. Tucker. These pieces are going to be featured in the Scholastic Art Award collection at the show!
